What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipping & Receiving Clerk position at CFS Brands?
The Shipping Receiving Clerk coordinates the inbound, storage and outbound of raw materials, components, and finished goods. Ensures that inventories are secure, properly identified and easily accessible to the authorized personnel.

- Overtime as needed, including some Saturdays.
- Overtime is scheduled in 12-hour increments, requiring availability from 7 AM – 7 PM, and from 3 AM - 3 PM.
- 1–2 years of manufacturing, operations, or shipping/receiving experience
- High school diploma preferred, or equivalent experience
- Ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing, with customers, carriers, and internal teams
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, and Word)
- Loads and unloads trucks using a fork truck, hand jack or other lifting equipment
- Checks trucks and all incoming shipments for any damage, shortages, or any other discrepancies
- Stamps all raw materials with a receipt date and stores it using the FIFO method
- Verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipping
- Compare identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records
- Affixes shipping labels on packed cartons or stencils, identifying shipping information on cartons
- Regular and punctual attendance, consistently adhere to the assigned work schedule
- Comply with all GMP requirements and adhere to all CFS safety policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
