Engineering Intern
Location: AyrKing – Louisville, KY
Join our engineering team! We're looking for a hands-on Engineering Intern to assist with CAD design in SolidWorks and Fusion 360, and help fabricate prototypes. This is a great opportunity to gain real-world experience in a collaborative, innovative environment.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 5 pm
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering or related field
- Familiarity with SolidWorks and/or Fusion 360
- Willingness to learn and get involved in hands-on fabrication
Essential Functions | Accountabilities | Performance Measures
- Assist technical support, customer service, and sales, with any engineering needs.
- Updates products and prints in line with company procedures, regulations, and customer standards, using SolidWorks.
- Participate in quality improvement projects.
- Generate and distribute drawings, routings, and Bill of Materials, to production departments.
- Provide necessary support to the production floor on a day-to-day basis as products are being built.
- Assist in testing of products, interpreting test data, and reporting out results.
- Complete special projects and other duties as assigned.
