Role Description
This is a part-time remote role for a Communications Strategist. Responsibilities include developing and executing strategic communication plans, drafting press releases, managing external communications for various clients, and cultivating media relations. The Communications Strategist will work closely with clients to navigate complex messaging, craft compelling narratives, and drive visibility for their initiatives and organizations.
Qualifications
- Experience with Press Releases and Media Relations, including drafting and managing outreach to secure coverage
- Expertise in Strategic Communications, including planning and implementing effective communication strategies
- Proficiency in Internal Communications and fostering clear communication within organizations
- Strong Communication skills to deliver impactful messaging across diverse audiences
- Ability to work effectively remotely in a collaborative environment with CEO & Founder
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field
- Experience working with nonprofits or public-sector agencies is a plus
