CFM Equipment Distributors is looking for a Temporary Warehouse Associate to join our Modesto team through the end of September. If you're someone who enjoys physical work, likes seeing the results of a productive day, and wants to work with a team that relies on one another, we'd like to meet you.
Every day is different. One minute you'll be unloading freight, the next you'll be pulling customer orders, helping a contractor at the will-call counter, or loading material for delivery. If you don't like sitting behind a desk and prefer being on your feet, this could be a great fit.
We're looking for someone who shows up on time, works hard, pays attention to the details, and is willing to jump in wherever the team needs help. Experience matters—but so does attitude.
What you'll do:
- Operate a forklift to load, unload, and move inventory
- Receive and put away incoming freight
- Pull and stage customer orders accurately
- Help contractors pick up orders at the will-call counter
- Prepare orders for shipment and delivery
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe
- Learn our products and warehouse processes through hands-on training
What we're looking for:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Forklift experience required
- Shipping and receiving experience required
- Experience using warehouse management or ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Epicor, etc...) a plus
- Strong attention to detail
- Positive attitude and dependable work ethic
- Comfortable working on your feet throughout the day
- Basic computer skills
- Shipping and receiving experience
- Interest in mechanical or technical products is a plus
Schedule
Monday–Friday
7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Pay
$19.00–$23.00 per hour, depending on experience.
This is a temporary assignment through the end of September.
