What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Engineer/Project Manager, Custom Metal Fabrication position at CFI?
We are an industry leader in the design and manufacturing of custom equipment and pressure vessels. Our clients include some of the largest oil refineries in North America. We are seeking a qualified Project Engineer/Project Manager to take responsibility for managing complex projects while meeting our clients' requirements and demands.
Project Engineer/Project Manager position responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:
· Interaction with operations management and shop supervisors.
· Extensive review and knowledge of customer specifications.
· Interaction with customer points of contact.
· Review of CFI generated Engineering Calculations.
· Checking drawings and Bill of Material to ensure accuracy.
· Releasing required materials to purchasing.
· Ensure projects are completed on-time and within the specified budget.
Qualifications and skills include, but are not limited to, the following:
·Experience in the field of Project Engineering/Project Management preferred, not required.
· Demonstrated proficiency in written and verbal communication, including advanced skills in critical software applications, such as Microsoft Excel, Word and Project.
· Knowledge of 2D and 3D AutoCAD and SolidWorks would be considered a plus, but not a requirement.
In addition to the listed responsibilities and qualifications, applicant will be required to display a dedicated and dependable work ethic and show a willingness to work together with team members and leaders to ensure that tasks are completed accurately and on time.
