Learn to become a Dental Assistant while you’re being paid during a 12-week training period!
CFHW offers a paid, 12-week Dental Assistant Training Program designed to help you build real skills, gain certification, and launch into a healthcare career. While this program does not lead to employment with CFHW, graduates leave job-ready with the skills, certification, and support needed to secure a Dental Assistant role in the community.
What You’ll Learn:
- Understand tooth anatomy, tooth numbers, procedures, and dental terminology.
- You will learn how to build a relationship with the dentist to anticipate their needs and save time.
- You will work with a team of 2-3 other assistants to help each other with tasks that keep on schedule, such as help clean the rooms, sterilize instruments, load the x-ray, do notes, and set up for the next patient.
- How to educate patients on oral health and post-op care.
- Work as part of a fast-paced, team-based care environment.
Compensation: Approximately $21.00 per hour during the 12-week training period. All individual pay rates are calculated based on the candidate's experience and internal equity.
