CFD Research is looking to add a new member to the team! The job duties will primarily be that of a Buyer with additional duties to support the Accounting Team.
Job Duties:
- procure good and services in alignment with project and company requirements
- issue purchase orders and monitor order status to ensure on-time delivery
- maintain supplier database and develop strong vendor relationships
- track and manage procurement activities within ERP system
- resolve discrepancies related to invoices, shipments, or supplier performance
- assist Accounts Payable with invoice entry, payment, and tracking
- work closely with Program Managers and Operations to support project execution
- ensure compliance with general company procurement policies, FAR, DFARS, AS9100, and any contract specific requirements
- assist Accounting team with other various projects as needed such as audits and further development of company policies and processes
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or related field; or equivalent work experience
- 2 years of purchasing/procurement experience, preferably in government contracting
- proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- strong organizational and analytical skills
- ability to function well in a team-oriented environment
- excellent communication skills
- U.S. Citizenship required
Desired Qualifications:
- experience with CPSR-compliant procurement system
- familiarity with Unanet or similar ERP tools
- experience supporting government contracts
- experience with Accounts Payable processing
