About the role:
As the Market President, you’ll serve as a dynamic leader responsible for driving business growth and championing strategic initiatives within your designated region. This role blends hands-on business development with people leadership, ensuring the successful execution of regional business plans and fostering a culture of collaboration among team members. Reporting directly to the President and CEO, you’ll set the tone for CFBank’s sales and client service excellence, focusing on expanding and nurturing commercial relationships to boost regional success.
What you’ll do:
- Collaborate with the Executive team to review, recommend, and lead the implementation of organizational objectives, ensuring clear communication of goals.
- Drive regional growth and profitability as a player coach, guiding business development efforts of the regional team.
- Lead business development efforts within your region, focusing on Commercial Banking relationships that include deposits, expanding the customer base, and enhancing the Bank’s financial performance.
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, prioritizing the establishment and growth of strategic partnerships.
- Foster a culture of mentorship by effectively managing your team and supporting the development of talent throughout the organization.
- Proactively manage your Commercial portfolio and ensure the credit quality of portfolios managed by your direct reports, collaborating with credit and work-out staff as necessary.
- Provide expertise and guidance to commercial/business banking staff when handling large or complex client relationships.
- Approve credits within your market in alignment with your lending authority.
- Actively promote the Bank’s services by leveraging marketing, networking, and referral opportunities.
Education and Experience:
- Must be a consistently high-performing Commercial Lender with a solid book of C&I business.
- Must have established market and network connections.
- 10 years of experience highly preferred.
- Prior Commercial or Regional Bank setting experience preferred.
