We are seeking a dedicated master’s level Clinician (license eligible preferred; LCSW, LPC, or LMFT) to join our extraordinary IFP Program that serves New London, Windham, and Middlesex Counties in Connecticut.

The IFP (Intensive Family Preservation) Program works with families referred by the Department of Children and Families (DCF) in their homes and the community to keep children safe and prevent out of home placement when there are active concerns of abuse or neglect. The IFP Clinician will have the opportunity to do highly impactful and meaningful work each day to help families and children. This rewarding position is best suited for someone who is passionate about child welfare, enjoys a challenge, has strong collaboration skills, and an ability to work independently in a hybrid position. The selected candidate will also receive extensive training in Circle of Security and Risking Connection.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attend and participate in weekly supervision.
  • Attend and participate in weekly team meetings with IFP coworkers and supervisor
  • Work towards continued quality improvement and overall success of the program
  • Communicate regularly with DCF SW and SWS regarding referred families and their services
  • Attend meetings with DCF as needed to support staff and families
  • Assess and discuss with supervisor any potential suspected child abuse and neglect. Additionally, filing Careline reports regarding such when instructed within the 12hour time frame (verbally) and 24hour time frame (written)
  • Communication with court personnel in response to subpoenas with supervisor support; additionally, testifying in response to subpoena

Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Social Service or related field (MSW, Marriage & Family Counseling, MA in Counseling, Psychology, etc.)
  • Fully licensed preferred: LCSW, LPC, LMFT. License eligible will be considered based on experience
  • Salary: $60,000$65,000. Significant pay differential offered for those who are bilingual in English and Spanish.
