Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and experienced Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS.
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring excellent customer service throughout their visit.
- Manage bar inventory, restock supplies, and monitor stock levels to prevent shortages.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations.
- Ensure responsible alcohol service by checking IDs and adhering to legal drinking age requirements.
- Assist with event setups such as banquets or catering functions as needed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff or event coordinators to ensure smooth service during busy periods.
- Stay informed about new drink recipes, brewing techniques, and industry trends to enhance guest experience.
Experience
- Prior experience in food service or hospitality environments such as restaurants, nightclubs, or banquet halls is preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems
- Strong skills in time management, sales, and customer service are essential for success in this role.
- Knows English and Spanish
- Knowledge of food safety practices, food handling, and responsible alcohol service is required.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math for inventory management, and general restaurant math are necessary.
