YOUR ROLE
Responsible for ensuring established quality standards are maintained within the contract with the primary goal of increasing quality, safety, accuracy and process efficiency. Models and acts in accordance with our guiding principles and core values.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
Perform In-process audit and random sampling for inbound, outbound, inventory, returns process audits using google forms and WMS computer system to ensure product accuracy, labelling, condition, packaging as per Routing Guides compliance and Client specifications.
Conduct VAS Projects, picking, packing, cluster-picking, put way, Returns and receiving process inspections for operational standards.
Completing and recording first article inspections ( FAI)
Utilize Google Sheets / Microsoft Excel / Google Forms to perform audits and record inspection results, analyse trends, and generate reports.
Support root cause analysis (RCA) for any identified discrepancies or quality failures.
Partner with Quality and operations teams to drive process improvements and corrective actions.
Participate in internal audits, compliance checks, and visual inspections across all warehouse processes.
Maintain documentation and quality dashboards, ensuring visibility of metrics and trends.
Promote and uphold company’s Safety & Quality culture continuous improvement initiatives.
Action discrepant material (return, sort, rework, scrap, provisional release) as directed by the customer.
Assist on-site customer and government quality assurance representatives as needed.
Assist in improving the Quality systems supporting ISO and OHSA standards and identify and assist in preventive action, process improvement and continuous improvement initiatives.
Meet customer expectations of quality, safety, service and value criteria.
Maintain quality performance data supporting QA Metrics tracking and performance improvement.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Minimum 3 years' experience in warehouse, distribution canter/ 3PL operations.
High school diploma or GED.
Knowledge of shipping, receiving, RF picking, packing, cluster picking, returns and stocking processes in 3PL warehouse environment.
Experience in B2B/B2C fulfilment operations.
Experience operating or auditing using scanners and WMS systems.
Proficiency in Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel, and Google Forms (data entry, analysis, and charts).
Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify process deviations quickly.
Strong analytical and detail-oriented mindset leading to problem solving.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Physically able to stand, lift and walk warehouse floors and perform visual inspections regularly.
PREFERRED
Prior experience in Process Inspection/Quality Control in a Distribution or 3PL warehouse setting.
Exposure to ISO 9001 Quality Systems, RCA, or CAPA documentation.
Associate degree. Certification in computer proficiency for Microsoft excel/google sheets.
Basic understanding of Safety procedures (OSHA) within a warehouse environment.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
