The Warehouse Technician I position that performs an array of functions that may include receiving and processing of incoming stock and materials; picking and filling orders from stock; packing and shipping orders; and labeling and packaging of semi-finished stocks.This position ensures that routine daily functions are completed accurately and timely and in accordance with all applicable regulations and policies.

Responsibilities And Key Duties
Responsibilities and Key Duties: Applicable Technician I Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s), basic understanding of warehousing processes and flows, understanding of GMP requirements for warehousing functions and understanding of waste handling.
Receiving of incoming stock and materials
- Verify incoming deliveries per applicable SOPs
- Receiving functions within operating system
- Pick and stage materials for campus production
- Assist in delivery of materials to campus
- Material movement using power industrial truck
- Verification and storage of incoming labels
- Retrieval of semi-finished stocks accurately
- Issuance of components of packaging within operating system
- Set up, load, run and unloading of machines
- Accurate recording keeping
- Material movement using power industrial truck
- Accurately pick orders from locations noted
- Verify item and quantity requested
- Issue item on operating system and within USDA compliance logs
- Prepare packaging per applicable SOPs
- Process shipping through specific carriers
- Material movement using power industrial truck
- Assist with inventory counts
- Demonstrate a culture safety in day to day operations, including performing of JSA’s and safety audits
- Quality Assurance understanding, assisting in checking documentation and investigations
- Comply with USDA regulations
- Comply with company policies
- Comply with safety regulations
- Comply with OSHA and DOT regulations
- Perform all other duties as assigned

- Obtain a Power Industrial Truck License
- Education - High School Diploma or GED
- Work Experience - 1 year of Warehousing & Distribution experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Other - Lean Manufacturing, Good Warehousing and Distribution Practices, Cold Chain Packaging and Solutions.
- Able to read, write legibly, and communicate in English
- Visual Inspection
- Frequent repetitions of squatting, bending and twisting
- Frequent standing for long periods of time
- Lifting up to 60 pounds
- Special working conditions within cooler storage of 2-7C
- Special working conditions within freezer storage of -20C
