Job Summary And Purpose
A Customer Supply Specialist (CSS) is responsible for preparing loads of all vaccines and diluents needed for each trip, loading the truck at the SDL and unloading, delivering and invoicing vaccines and diluents at the customers’ hatchery.
This position will also require a Commercial Drivers’ License (CDL) be kept current and that delivery truck is properly maintained and road worthy to pass any and all Department of Transportation (DOT) inspections.
Responsibilities And Key Duties
Vaccine Management
Education – High school diploma or GED is required. 2 or 4 year college degree preferred.
Work Experience – 2 years of related poultry work experience preferred.
Required: – Valid DOT driver’s license and CDL with HazMat endorsement . Liquid Nitrogen Training, Safety Training, Hot Works Training, or equivalent, strongly preferred.
Physical Requirements
A majority of the work occurs driving to and from as well as working inside a poultry hatchery. Overnight and weekend work may be required.
Travel Required
80% travel required
Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary Range: $51,266-$76,889 per year
Commission: $6,000-$9,000 quarterly

Responsibilities And Key Duties
Vaccine Management
- Manages vaccine inventories at satellite distribution locations (SDL’s) and customer hatcheries
- Can also include educating customers on vaccine technology and additional/complimentary vaccine sales support and recommended on site inventory levels
- Understands and adheres to USDA regulatory requirements for vaccine delivery and inventory management.
- Understands and adheres to all DOT and OSHA compliance requirements resulting in safe and efficient vaccine deliveries to Ceva customers while maintain proper vaccine integrity, transport and storage requirements
- Manages and adheres to efficient delivery routes and accurate monitoring of vaccine and diluent usage at customer locations
- Manages the proper marking, movement and tracking of vaccine and their associated dewars, including the safe handling of liquid nitrogen used for vaccine storage and transport
- Manage customer inventories
- Anticipate customer needs and vaccination program changes
- Communicate with VSE team and Territory Managers
- Delivery notices to be submitted to Customer Service within 24 hrs of delivery
- Completes other duties as required.

- Basic understanding of Ceva's hatchery products.
- Ability to use the basic vaccination vocabulary and follow the corporate communication rules.
- Ability to prepare and perform a marketing speech, using vocabulary and concepts
