This is a commission-only BD role with uncapped earning potential. You earn 20% of all revenue you generate (one-time recurring) plus quarterly performance bonuses up to $40K/year. Realistic earnings for successful partners: $80K–$150K in year one.


The Opportunity


CEU Builder is hiring independent channel sales representatives to help scale an education studio that's changing how hospitality brands use continuing education to drive real pipeline and revenue.


This is a ground-floor opportunity to build your own book of business with a proven model, attractive economics, and a clear path to $100K in year one with income that compounds month over month.


We're projecting $1.6M in year-one revenue with a roadmap to $10M over the next 2–3 years. If you want to grow with an early-stage company, set your own schedule, and build recurring income that stacks, keep reading.


About CEU Builder


CEU Builder is an accredited education studio serving the hospitality design industry. We help manufacturers (fabric makers, furniture brands, lighting companies) turn CEUs into a working demand channel that fills calendars, keeps design pros in compliance, and leads to more specs.


We handle everything: course creation, IDCEC accreditation, LMS hosting, data integration, and ongoing operations. Our clients get education that works, and their sales teams get clean data that ties learning hours to real pipeline.


Our Product Suite (What You'll Be Selling)


We offer three core packages:

  • GOOD – $6,500: One course, one region.
  • BETTER (Most Popular) – $11,500: Course attendance operations.
  • BEST – $18,500: Full program with on-demand module, attribution tracking, variants, and refresh.


Add-Ons:

  • AIA/GBCI filing: $1,500
  • 90-min version: $1,000
  • Enhanced quiz banks: $450
  • Research deep-dive: $1,200


Operate Retainer (Recurring Revenue):

Most clients add ongoing operations support: $4K–$8K/month

  • Recurring sessions and renewals
  • Dashboard and attribution tracking
  • Admin and compliance support
  • Rep enablement and marketing ops


This is where your income compounds.

Every retainer client = monthly recurring commissions for as long as they stay active.


Compensation Structure (The Path to $100K )


Base Commission: 20% of ALL Revenue (Uncapped, Recurring)

You earn 20% commission on every dollar you bring in, including:


  • One-time packages: GOOD, BETTER, BEST, and all add-ons
  • Recurring retainers: Monthly operations, admin support, marketing services
  • Performance fees and upsells: Additional courses, variants, expanded programs


What One Client Is Worth to You


Typical Full-Service Client:

  • BETTER package AIA add-on: $13,000 (one-time)
  • Operate Retainer: $6,000/month (recurring)


Your Earnings from One Client:

  • Upfront commission: $2,600 (20% of $13K)
  • Monthly recurring commission: $1,200/month (20% of $6K retainer)
  • Year-one total from this one client: $16,600


Sign just 6 clients with this package mix over 12 months, and you earn $99,600 in year one. And that's conservative, many clients go with BEST ($18,500) or add multiple courses throughout the year.

Scenario 1: The Steady Builder (Conservative Path to $100K)

Q1: Close 2 clients

  • 1x BETTER AIA ($13,000) Operate retainer starting month 2
  • 1x GOOD ($6,500) trial client
  • Your Q1 earnings: $3,900 upfront $1,200/mo recurring (last month of Q1)


Q2: Add 2 more clients

  • 2x BETTER AIA ($26,000) both add Operate retainers
  • Your Q2 earnings: $5,200 upfront recurring now at $3,600/mo


Q3: Add 1 BEST client upsell 1 existing client

  • 1x BEST AIA ($20,000) Operate retainer
  • Upsell existing GOOD client to full Operate ($6K/mo)

Year-Two Potential (same 6 clients on retainer, minimal new sales):

Upsell opportunities built in: Most clients expand services over time (add courses, AIA variants, additional regions, enhanced tracking). Every upsell = more commission.


No cap, no ceiling: The more you bring in, the more you earn. Period.


Your book of business grows with you: Once you have 5–6 clients on retainer, you're earning $6K–$7K/month in recurring commissions before you even close a new deal.

What We're Looking For


Must-haves:


  • Experience in or around the hospitality design industry (sales, marketing, design, or related)

Nice-to-haves:


  • Direct experience with trade programs, rep networks, or A&D sales

Legal Note: This is an independent contractor role, not a W-2 position. You'll operate through our existing Partner Program portal. You're responsible for your own taxes, and you set your own hours. No benefits, 401(k), or minimum time commitments. You have full flexibility and full control.
