About Cetechs
Cetechs is seeking a qualified Industrial Hygienist to provide surge support for the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency's nationwide Safety and Occupational Health Program.
This position supports specialized industrial hygiene investigations, environmental monitoring, and occupational exposure assessments at federal facilities throughout the United States.
Responsibilities
- Conduct Industrial Hygiene surveys
- Perform indoor air quality assessments
- Conduct noise monitoring
- Perform ventilation evaluations
- Collect airborne contaminant samples
- Evaluate chemical and biological hazards
- Prepare technical Industrial Hygiene reports
- Recommend corrective actions
- Support Safety Technicians during specialized inspections
- Travel to federal facilities as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in one of the following:
- Occupational Health
- Industrial Hygiene
- Environmental Health
- Biology
- Chemistry
- Toxicology
- Engineering
Plus:
- 3–5 years of Industrial Hygiene experience
Experience with:
- Air sampling
- Noise monitoring
- Ventilation systems
- Radiation monitoring
- OSHA standards
- Exposure monitoring equipment
Must possess:
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to travel nationwide
- U.S. Citizenship
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH)
- Federal Government experience
- DoD experience
- Experience supporting occupational health programs
- Experience preparing technical exposure reports
Physical Requirements
Candidates must be able to:
- Lift monitoring equipment
- Walk industrial facilities
- Climb ladders
- Work around manufacturing and mechanical equipment
- Perform field sampling in various environments
