CETUSA (Council for Educational Travel USA) is looking for local coordinators in the stater of Washington.

CETUSA is a non-profit organization that promotes international relationships through a student exchange program! We support students from all over the world who come to experience life in the U.S. with volunteer host families.
The local coordinator role is a 1099 contract position. It is mostly remote but does require in-person visits at certain points. You determine your workflow and set placement goals with your regional manager. The students and families you work with will live within 60 miles of your residence.
Local Coordinator Duties:
--Recruit host families and place international exchange students with these families
--Monitor students and families through the school year
--Complete pre-and post-arrival orientation meetings and monthly check-in reports
--Vet host families, conduct home visits and check references
--Foster positive relationships between international participants and the local community
--Help participants adjust to their new environment and ensure they have a rewarding experience
--Be the first point of contact for any issues with the student/family
--Get placement approval from local schools
Pay and Incentives:
There is no base pay for this contract position. Pay depends on how many host families you recruit and how many students you mentor.
Placements/pay:
For 1-3 students, you earn $500 each
For 4-6 students, you earn $600 each
For 7-9 students, you earn $800 each
For 10 or more students, you earn $1000 each
You are also paid for ongoing supervision (monthly check-ins), pre-and post-arrival orientation meetings, and can receive referral bonuses.
CETUSA also offers travel incentives, providing the opportunity for free international travel if a certain number of student placements are made.
Training for this position is done virtually.
