Landscaping and lawn maintenance crew member

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Lawn Care Crew Member to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the beauty and health of residential and commercial landscapes. You will work outdoors, utilizing various hand and power tools to ensure that lawns, gardens, and other green spaces are well-kept and thriving. This position requires a passion for landscaping and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.

Duties

• Perform lawn care tasks including mowing, trimming, and edging to maintain a neat appearance.
• Utilize hand tools such as rakes, shovels, and pruners for various landscaping tasks.
• Operate power tools like lawn mowers, blowers, and trimmers safely and efficiently.
• Assist in groundskeeping activities including planting flowers, shrubs, and trees.
• Implement irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants and lawns.
• Conduct tree trimming and pruning as needed to promote healthy growth.
• Maintain equipment by cleaning and performing minor repairs as necessary.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while adhering to safety guidelines.

Requirements

• Previous experience in lawn care or landscaping is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in landscaping is an advantage.
• Knowledge of groundskeeping practices including mowing, irrigation, and garden maintenance.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on delivering quality results.
• Good physical stamina; ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
• A valid driver’s license may be required depending on job assignments.
