We are seeking a dedicated Speech & Language Pathologist to join our team and provide exceptional services to students with communication needs. This position is located in the Princeton School District.

Job Summary:
The Speech & Language Pathologist provides comprehensive speech and language therapy to identified students in school districts as assigned by the Agency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess & Evaluate: Conduct screenings and evaluations to identify speech and language needs using up-to-date assessment tools.
  • Develop & Implement Plans: Create individualized treatment plans to support student communication and academic success.
  • Collaborate & Communicate: Participate in IEP meetings, establish individualized goals, and provide progress reports.
  • Provide Direct Services: Deliver high-quality speech and language therapy services in accordance with best practices.
  • Support AAC Needs: Identify students requiring augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) support and assist with training students, staff, and families.
  • Engage & Educate: Lead in-service programs on speech and language topics for educators and staff.
  • Maintain Compliance: Complete Medicaid billing, treatment logs, and all necessary documentation in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Reevaluate & Adapt: Regularly assess student progress and adjust therapy approaches as needed.

What You Bring to the Team:

  • A valid Speech & Language Pathologist License through the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction
  • Strong ability to facilitate meetings and share expertise in a group setting
  • Knowledge of special education processes, record-keeping, and compliance
  • Familiarity with assistive technology and AAC strategies
  • Excellent relationship-building skills with students, staff, and families
  • A commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Attend CESA 5 department meetings and collaborate with other professionals
  • Work with community, state, and federal programs supporting speech & language services
  • Occasionally participate in meetings outside regular school hours
