CES is looking for reliable, detail-oriented individuals to assist Underage Purchasers in performing non- confrontational compliance checks on local tobacco retailers to ensure the sale of tobacco products to Underage Purchasers is restricted. The inspection is used to establish a retailer's compliance with federal regulations. This work is conducted on a part-time, case-volume basis with flexibility relevant to the individual's schedule.Duties/Responsibilities:Travel with an Underage Purchaser; identify and verify site address providedFacilitate and observe undercover buys in coordination with trained Underage PurchasersCollect evidence of violations, such as photographs and tobacco productsComplete compliance check inspection forms, detailing any violations, when applicableReview retailers for compliance of advertising & labeling signageRequired qualifications/skills:Inspectors must be current law enforcement officers or current employees of the state, county or local city/townReliable transportationAttention to detailStrict adherence to deadlines and privacyMust be able to undergo a security clearance background check and become credentialed by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).Learn more about this program by visiting: http://www.fda.gov/TobaccoProductsJob Type: Part-timePay: $30.00 per hour Benefits:Flexible schedule Schedule:Evening shiftWeekends as neededLicense/Certification:Driver's License (Required)Work Location: On the road
