Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including physical exams and medical histories.
- Diagnose and treat acute, chronic, and complex health conditions.
- Develop and implement patient treatment plans, including prescribing medications and therapies.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated care.
- Provide education and counseling to patients and their families on health management and prevention strategies.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential medical records.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest healthcare practices and protocols to ensure evidence-based care.
Qualifications:
- Current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in Virginia.
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Certification as a Nurse Practitioner (FNP, PMHNP, or other relevant certification).
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in behavioral health
