Cerv Pool Solutions is seeking a Pool Cleaning Technician to add to our growing team! Pool cleaning technicians will be responsible for servicing pools around the DFW area. Our pool cleaning technicians are required to drive a company truck to each customer's home, diagnose many types of maintenance issues, recommend maintenance options to customers, and complete all pool cleaning requirements with professionalism and service excellence. Paid training program starting day one to get you comfortable with pool cleaning and chemical balancing.
Responsibilities include:
- Carry out general pool cleaning such as removing debris from pool surface and floor, precisely balancing chemicals and oversee and recommend general maintenance of all pool equipment.
- Accurately diagnose cause of pool maintenance and pool water chemistry issues, recommend options for solutions, price repairs (when applicable) in accordance with company policy, complete basic repairs, complete and submit all required paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.
- Maintain positive attitude at all times with customers, fellow employees, and supervisors.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, co-workers and customers to ensure complete alignment of our weekly pool cleaning and repair services.
- Maintain and be responsible for company-specified tools, equipment and inventory as well as your truck for most cost-effective delivery of quality service.
- Attend required department meetings and company or vendor training as required.
- Exhibit professional conduct at all times, whether at the job site or driving company vehicles.
- Clean and clear the work area after job has been completed as well as ensure individual customer requests are adhered to.
- Wear provided company uniform at all times and maintain well-groomed appearance in accordance with company policies.
Requirements:
- Possess willingness and ability to become a Certified Pool Operator (CPO).
- Able to pass a criminal background check and possess a clean driving record.
- Must have and maintain current Driver's license.
- Demonstrate a high level of mental aptitude and physical ability.
- Excellent communication & customer service skills.
- Ability to prioritize work-load
- Manage customer interaction with good composure.
- Dependable and self-motivated with desire to work year-round.
- Ability to take instruction and adapt to new methods/systems
- Proper swimming pool cleaning methods and techniques
- Proper use of swimming pool chemicals
Physical Demands with or without accommodations are not limited to:
- Ability to drive a vehicle with standard or automatic gear and enter/exit a truck or car.
- Able to lift 50 lbs. or more.
- Stand for extended periods of time
- Repetitive lifting, twisting, bending, pulling, and pushing may be required.
- Handles power tools.
- Ability to work independently and maintain a schedule and workload
- Ability to work outdoors at all times in all temperature ranges.
