Summary
We are seeking a Part-time Cook to join our culinary team at Candlewood Healthcare & Rehabilitation. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing nutritious and delicious meals for our residents, ensuring food safety and quality standards are met. Your contributions will play a vital role in enhancing the dining experience within our communities.
This position has a starting pay rate of $16.00 an hour
The typical schedule for this opportunity is Two (2) 8-hour shifts Week 1: Friday and Monday 12pm - 8pm and Week 2: Saturday and Sunday 12pm - 8pm. The standard schedule for this position includes an every other weekend rotation. Specific schedules available will be discussed during interview.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and dietary guidelines.
- Ensure all food safety standards are adhered to during food preparation and service.
- Assist in menu planning to meet the nutritional needs of residents.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.
- Collaborate with culinary aides and other kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal service.
- Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report any shortages or needs.
