Summary

We are seeking a Culinary Aide to join our team at Forest Hill Healthcare & Rehabilitation. In this role, you will assist in meal preparation and food service within our assisted living communities, ensuring that our residents receive nutritious and delicious meals tailored to their needs. This position has a starting pay rate of $12.00 an hour

The current available opportunity is on 11am to 7pm shift. This role is a part-time opportunity working the following scheduled two-week rotation.

Week 1: Sunday, Wednesday, Friday

Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and serving of meals according to dietary guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas.
• Support cooks and dietary aides in food preparation tasks as needed.
• Ensure proper food handling and safety procedures are followed at all times.
• Help with bussing tables and cleaning up after meals to maintain a pleasant dining experience.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements

• Previous experience in the culinary field or food service preferred.
• Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations is essential.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced setting.
