Certis Biologicals is seeking a Labeling and Packaging Assistant who will serve as a vital liaison across multiple departments to support label and packaging creation, verification, and amendments. This person will be responsible for coordinating with customers, as well as the Sales, Regulatory, and Production teams to ensure the availability of all labeling and packaging components needed for all international and domestic orders. The Labeling and Packaging Assistant will report to the Labeling and Packaging Manager.

Certis Biologicals is seeking a Labeling and Packaging Assistant who will serve as a vital liaison across multiple departments to support label and packaging creation, verification, and amendments. This person will be responsible for coordinating with customers, as well as the Sales, Regulatory, and Production teams to ensure the availability of all labeling and packaging components needed for all international and domestic orders. The Labeling and Packaging Assistant will report to the Labeling and Packaging Manager.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Manage up-to-date label files and marking instructions to be used by Wasco production staff.
- Support the Regulatory team by preparing draft versions of new or revised NAFTA product labels for EPA and State Regulatory reviews.
- Support the international sales team with package specifications, label format recommendations and customer support to create new label artwork and/or artwork revisions.
- Generate and send purchase orders to vendors for labeling and packaging components.
- Communicate label and packaging status updates and timelines as it pertains to order fulfillment to the appropriate parties in a timely manner.
- Participate in quarterly meetings with 3rd party distributors to support label orders, anticipate changes to label text and maintain inventory of package labels to 3rd party partners such as OHP and Neudorff.
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Highly detail-oriented position with strong organizational abilities.
- Ability to anticipate and analyze, document, and report issues to the proper party.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Work) Adobe InDesign & Illustrator.
- Able to travel domestically as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Experience with ERP systems, such as NetSuite.
- Bilingual in English and another language is a plus but not required.
- Two or more years of experience in an export logistics environment is important.
