Schedule:
- Monday - Friday, weekends as needed
- 1st shift: 5am - 10am start time
- 2nd shift: 12pm start time
- OT as needed
Pay Range: $16.90 - $20.00 per hour
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Production Associate located in Fresno, CA. The Production Associate will support daily production operations, assist with operating production lines, and oversee machine operation. Responsibilities also include ensuring quality control standards are maintained, managing timely production workflows, and adapting effectively to changing tasks or priorities.
- Ensure proper labeling of product
- Vacuum pack product using appropriate machinery
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area throughout shift
- Adhere to GMPs and safety protocols
- Complete necessary paperwork as assigned
Physical Requirements/Environments:
- Requires physical exertion to manually move, lift, carry, pull, or push heavy objects or materials
- Requires prolonged standing during work hours
- Requires stooping, kneeling, bending and reaching
- Must work in noisy and crowded environments
- Must work in and around odors
- Must work in lower temperature environment (35°-45° F)
Safety Clothing / Equipment:
- Must comply with company dress code
- Layered clothing is advised
- Company Provided: helmet, smock, gloves, hair and beard net
- Non-slip shoes or boots
- Optional: Back brace and/or other safety equipment available at employee request
Qualifications:
- Experience in Production Assistance and familiarity with Production Lines
- Understanding of and ability to implement Quality Control processes
- Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to changing priorities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Good communication skills and attention to detail
- Previous experience in meat processing or food production is a plus
- Completed application
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug test
- Availability to work long hours and weekends as needed
- Basic math
- Ability to lift 80 lbs.
