About The Role

North American Refrigeration is looking for a dedicated Service Technician to join our team! If you're ready to hit the road and ensure our customers' facilities are operating efficiently, this is the role for you.
What You'll Do
- Provide Service & Support: Travel to customer facilities across the U.S. to install, repair, maintain, and test facility equipment.
- Problem Solving: Diagnose issues, determine the right solutions, and communicate resolutions to the customer or Service Manager.
- System Start-Ups: Complete pump-outs and start up equipment after construction projects, ensuring everything runs seamlessly.
- Customer Interaction: Build strong relationships with customers while keeping them informed about service progress and solutions.
- Adhere to Safety Standards: Follow all safety procedures and ensure incident reporting is timely and accurate.
- Expense Management: Submit accurate and timely expense reports in line with North American Refrigeration's guidelines.
- Clean Driving Record: Maintain a clean driving record and be prepared to travel extensively across the continental U.S.
- Other Duties: Take on additional responsibilities as needed to keep projects moving forward and customers happy.
- Highly Skilled Technician: You have experience with equipment installation, repair, and maintenance, and you understand how critical these services are to keeping facilities operational.
- Hands-On Problem Solver: You excel at diagnosing issues and implementing practical solutions that get the job done.
- Customer-Focused: You love working directly with customers, ensuring their equipment operates smoothly, and building positive relationships.
- Flexible & Ready to Travel: Although our goal is to keep you as local as possible, you would be required to travel as required, with overnight stays as needed.
- Safety-Minded: You never compromise on safety and follow all reporting procedures to the letter.
- High school diploma or associate degree, or a combination of relevant experience and education.
- Preferred: CIRO/CARO certifications, experience with industrial refrigeration systems, and knowledge of electrical components.
- Ability to work well independently with limited supervision.
- Effective communication skills.
