Responsibilities

- Install new auto glass with precision, ensuring proper fitting and sealing for optimal safety and appearance.
- Perform automotive glass repairs, including chip and crack repairs, to extend the lifespan of existing glass components.
- Handle glass materials safely, including heavy lifting and proper storage to prevent damage or injury.
- Use automotive estimating software to assess repair needs and communicate effectively with customers about services required.
- Operate company vehicles to transport tools, equipment, and personnel to job sites efficiently.
- Conduct vehicle inspections related to glass fitting, auto body repair, and overall vehicle maintenance as needed.
- Apply knowledge of ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) calibration when replacing or repairing windshields equipped with these features.
- Maintain a clean workspace by detailing vehicles post-installation and ensuring all tools are properly stored after use.
- Follow power tool safety guidelines during all installation procedures to prevent accidents or damage.
Skills
- Proven dealership experience or background in automotive glass replacement and repair.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience using hand tools and power tools safely.
- Familiarity with ADAS systems calibration and auto estimating software is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of automotive repair processes, including auto body repair and vehicle maintenance routines.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to clearly explain services performed.
