Position Summary
Certified Waste Solutions provides waste solutions for commercial, industrial, and multi-family clients, enhancing operational efficiency and sustainability. Our Anaheim Office location is seeking a reliable and experienced Class A Driver to safely transport waste and recycling materials from customer sites to our disposal and recycling facilities. This role combines driving, customer service, and hands-on materials handling.
Work Schedule Hours: Monday- Friday; 5:00am-3:00pm- - work every other Saturday
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Safely operate class A vehicles, including tractor-trailers and follow all DOT regulations
- Experience with front loaders (trash trucks)
- Perform pickups and deliveries across the Southern California area (OC, LA, Riverside County areas)
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and complete daily DVIRs
- Handle paperwork (BOLs, packing lists, labels) accurately and timely
- Ensure secure loading/unloading and use of safety equipment
- Represent the company professionally to customers
- Communicate with dispatch and operations teams effectively
- Assist and guide riders when applicable
- Drive bobtail trucks up to 53’ foot trucks
Qualifications
- Commercial Driver's License (CDL): Must possess a valid Class A CDL, allowing operation of vehicles with a combined weight exceeding 26,001 pounds
- Minimum 6 months of Class A driving experience (OC, LA, Riverside County areas)
- Able to pass background/security clearance (no felonies)
- Familiar with smartphone/GPS use
- Physically capable of lifting 30 lbs. and using pallet jacks
- Attention to detail and adaptability to new procedures
- No smoking in company vehicles or customer sites
