Position Summary:
As an Aircraft Maintenance Dispatcher, you will collaborate with our station clientele to ensure timely and effective maintenance duties are delegated, scheduled, and adhered to. You will directly impact on the clientele’s aircraft needs by ensuring maintenance completion and on-time departures are delivered by CAS.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Plans, organizes, and manages internal crew scheduling to cohere with flight arrivals.
· Maintain operational reliability.
· Establish and maintain a professional rapport with Organization clientele.
· Implement and coordinate emergency procedures in case of incident involving aircraft arrival delays, manpower shortage, or absenteeism.
· Strong attention to detail and constant awareness of personnel on shift and flight arrivals
· Maintaining and reviewing computerized or manual records of items as assigned
· Track data use agreements.
· Review tool and equipment inventory
· Help maintain oversight and coordination across scheduled maintenance
· Assist in the maintenance of resources, such as resumes, training and project descriptions
· Input progress updates on maintenance schedules
· Process electronic timecards for the LAX team
· Collect, organize and distribute project close-out documents
· Facilitate the distribution of necessary documentation, plans, and reports as required
· Assist other team members: such as shipping, receiving, inventory, procurement and any general office administration
· Assist HR with hiring and onboarding of team members, including facilitating DOD Security Clearance process
· Communicate with clear direction.
· Support, relate, and strengthen the mission, values, and culture of CAS.
· Other responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications:Requirements
Minimum Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities:
· Scheduling: MUST be able to cover the night shift from 2200-0600.
· High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
· Must be a US citizen and legally authorized to work in the country in which the position is located
· Must possess and maintain a valid Driver License and a record that meets CAS insurance standards
· Knowledge and understanding of Business Aviation, FAA regulation, and aircraft maintenance.
· 2 Years related experience preferred.
· Thorough knowledge and advanced experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, Access and PowerPoint
· Excellent Communication Skills both verbal and written. Knowledge of and basic ability to speak the English language, spelling, punctuation, and sentence structure are essential.
· Experience in call and email handling.
· Strong project management and organizational skills. Attention to detail. Self-starter. Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
· Familiarity with contract documents and terms, with an ability to identify and summarize material terms
