Armed Security Officer – Reno/Sparks Area

We are currently hiring professional Armed Security Officers for multiple stable, long-term assignments in the Reno/Sparks area. These are local posts offering consistent schedules — no graveyard shifts.
Compensation & Schedule
- $22.49 per hour
- Day & Swing shifts only
- Full-Time & Part-Time positions available
- Weekend availability required
Minimum Requirements
(Must have or be able to obtain promptly)
- Valid Nevada PILB Armed Security Guard Card
- Valid Nevada Cannabis Compliance Board (CCB) Card
- First Aid & CPR Certification (not required to start, but preferred)
- Smartphone proficiency for reporting and communication
- Proof of U.S. citizenship or legal permanent residency
- Reliable transportation
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to work weekends
Military or Law Enforcement experience is strongly preferred.
Job Responsibilities
- Control access to assigned properties
- Conduct walking patrols as required
- Observe, deter, and report suspicious or illegal activity
- Complete clear and accurate incident/activity reports
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
- Perform additional duties as assigned
