What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Engagement Executive position at Cerner Corporation?

As a Lead Engagement Owner, you will lead strategy and accountability for client roadmaps and project plans. You will direct and manage a team of highly influential associates responsible for delivering value to strategic clients. You will collaborate with cross-functional internal and external stakeholders to execute client and methodology vision, objectives, and strategy. You will monitor key performance indicators and intervene as necessary to mitigate client risks and ensure value is delivered to the client as committed. You will create and drive action plan for the knowledge leader community. You will drive vision, innovation, and strategy for internal organizational and team imperatives.

Working Environment

Hybrid or Remote

This position offers a Hybrid or Remote working environment. Meaning if you live within a metro area of a Cerner office, you will split working time between a Cerner office and remote. If you are not within a metro area of a Cerner office, you can live and work in your current geographical location and work primarily remote. #LI-Hybrid #Remote

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
  • At least 10 years total combined related work experience and completed higher education, including:
    • At least 3 years healthcare information technology (HCIT) consulting, HCIT support, project/program management, client relationship management and/or other client-facing or HCIT solution work experience
    • At least 7 years additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job and/or completed higher education
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience
  • Lean Six Sigma Certification - International Association for Six Sigma Certification
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) - Project Management Institute (PMI)
Expectations
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned
  • Willing to travel up to 100% as needed
  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
  • Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position

Due to specific client contract requirements, this position requires that the successful candidate be a U.S. citizen. The client contract also requires receipt of the appropriate government security clearance card applicable for the position.
