Responsibilities

• Efficiently pick orders using barcode scanning technology and RF scanners to ensure accuracy and speed.
• Operate various warehouse equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, and manual handling tools following safety protocols.
• Prepare orders for shipment by packing items securely, labeling packages correctly, and verifying order contents against system records.
• Manage inventory movement within the warehouse using warehouse management systems (WMS) to track stock levels and locations.
• Load and unload shipments safely using appropriate heavy equipment, ensuring proper handling of materials.
• Conduct quality control checks to confirm that orders are complete, accurate, and meet company standards before dispatch.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety procedures including PPE use and manual handling guidelines.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Ability to operate heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, cherry pickers, and pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems (IMS), barcode scanning for logistics, RF scanners, and warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Strong manual handling skills with the ability to lift heavy items safely on a regular basis.
• Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying shipments accurately.
• Knowledge of safety protocols including PPE use, safe load/unload procedures, and material handling equipment operation.
• Excellent attention to detail with a focus on order accuracy and quality control.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment in a fast-paced setting.
