- Conduct preliminary tests such as measuring visual acuity, taking vital signs, and performing basic assessments.
- Provide education to patients regarding their eye health and the use of prescribed eyewear.
- Handle retail transactions and assist with inventory management, utilizing retail math skills as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized clinic environment, adhering to aseptic techniques.
- Support pediatric patients with care and comfort during their visits.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient clinic operations and high levels of patient satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in an optometric or medical setting is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of physiology related to eye care is advantageous.
- Familiarity with medical records management and understanding of HIPAA regulations is essential.
