ERP Reporting Technical & Workstream Lead

Overview
The ERP Reporting Technical & Workstream Lead will drive the design, build, and deployment of the future-state financial reporting platform as part of a major Oracle ERP transformation. This role blends deep technical expertise, strong architectural thinking, and hands-on leadership of a cross-functional reporting workstream. The ideal candidate brings experience with Oracle Financials, modern reporting architectures, and cloud-based data platforms (AWS preferred), along with the ability to challenge business processes and guide teams toward scalable, automated reporting solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting Architecture & Design
· Lead analysis and complex architectural design across the enterprise technology environment and Oracle ERP platform to deliver a robust, scalable reporting ecosystem.
· Define how out-of-the-box Oracle Financial reports integrate with a custom AWS-based reporting platform.
· Challenge existing business reporting processes and guide stakeholders toward reusable, automated, and standardized reporting solutions.
· Partner with business process owners to ensure a clear functional reporting roadmap aligned to future-state Finance capabilities.
Workstream Leadership & Delivery
· Serve as the Reporting Workstream Lead within the ERP program, overseeing planning, execution, and delivery.
· Assist the systems integrator (SI) in translating architectural guidance into detailed technical designs and build activities.
· Lead SI resources and collaborate with cross-functional technology teams in an agile environment to drive reporting requirements and solution development.
· Conduct and facilitate large-scale design sessions, ensuring alignment across business and technical teams.
· Review vendor deliverables, validate acceptance criteria, and ensure quality standards are met.
Build, Controls, and Deployment
· Assist in the design and build of an AWS-based financial reporting platform.
· Design, validate, and support the implementation of controls surrounding reporting processes.
· Troubleshoot complex reporting issues and guide the build team through resolution.
· Manage deployment activities for reporting solutions, ensuring smooth cutover and adoption.
· Lead post-production support, ensuring stability and continuous improvement of reporting capabilities.
Program & Stakeholder Management
· Build, validate, and execute the project plan for the Reporting Workstream.
· Recommend solutions that balance cost, business needs, and technical footprint.
· Prepare executive-level presentations and lead development meetings.
· Maintain strong partnerships with key business users, ensuring technology solutions enable the future vision for Finance.
Required Skills & Experience
· Strong experience with Oracle ERP Financials and associated reporting tools.
· Proven ability to lead technical workstreams in large-scale ERP or Finance transformation programs.
· Hands-on experience designing or supporting cloud-based reporting platforms, ideally on AWS.
· Ability to challenge business processes and drive standardization and automation.
· Strong architectural thinking, analytical skills, and problem-solving capabilities.
· Experience designing and validating reporting controls.
· Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead design sessions and present to senior stakeholders
