We are looking for an experienced, dependable Certified Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) who is passionate about caring for children and families. Pediatric experience is a plus, but just as important is someone who is positive, compassionate, adaptable, and enjoys working as part of a supportive team.

What You'll Do

As a member of our clinical team, you will:

  • Welcome patients and families while creating a positive experience from the moment they arrive.
  • Room patients by obtaining vital signs, medical history, medications, and chief complaints.
  • Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during visits and procedures.
  • Administer vaccines, medications, injections, and treatments according to provider orders and office protocols.
  • Perform CLIA-waived laboratory testing, specimen collection, and phlebotomy (when applicable).
  • Accurately document patient information within our electronic medical record (EMR) Epic.
  • Educate families regarding medications, treatment plans, and follow-up care.
  • Assist with telephone triage, patient messages, and care coordination.
  • Help maintain exam rooms, medical supplies, and clinical equipment.
  • Work closely with providers and fellow team members to ensure outstanding patient care throughout the day.

Qualifications

Required

  • Current CMA, RMA, or LPN license/certification in good standing.
  • Previous clinical experience in a medical office or outpatient setting.
  • Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR).
  • Current BLS certification (or ability to obtain).

Preferred

  • Pediatric experience.
  • Experience administering immunizations and performing CLIA-waived testing.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and pediatric growth and development.
  • Phlebotomy experience.
