What are the responsibilities and job description for the Data Analytics Engineer position at Ceras Health Inc?
THE OPPORTUNITY
In this role, the Data Analytics Engineer will be responsible for building and operationalizing the data necessary for Ceras Health’s data and analytics initiatives. The engineer will be accountable for discovery, extraction, publication, and visualization of source data to enable and improve departmental efficiencies and increase business value. By building a reliable data program and by training and mentoring our partners and employees on tools, processes, and procedures.
JOB FUNCTIONS
Design, construct, install, test, and maintain our growing data platform and infrastructure.
Ensure that all systems meet the business/company requirements as well as industry practices.
Integrate up-and-coming data management and software engineering technologies into existing data structures.
Develop set processes for data procurement, mining, modeling, and data visualization tools.
Research new uses for existing data.
Employ an array of technological languages and tools to connect systems.
Recommend different ways to constantly improve data reliability and quality.
Collaborate with our team to build the best RPM system in the industry.
EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS, & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar field OR equivalent work experience in place of a degree.
5 years of experience in a data engineering role, working with large datasets in the healthcare industry.
Experience and solid grasp of Javascript.
Demonstrated experience with scripting and coding as it pertains to data engineering (Python, etc.) and SQL.
Ability to communicate and establish best practices regarding data management.
Experience working in data cloud-based environments including Tableau, Azure SQL, AWS.
Demonstrable experience in data modeling, ETL development, and data warehousing, or similar skills.
Nice to have streaming and any contemporary AI/ML languages.
