What are the responsibilities and job description for the SEO Content Strategist position at Ceramic Pro?
Ceramic Pro is the leader in paint protection film, ceramic coating, and window tint — one of the most recognized brands and dealer networks in the automotive protection industry. We're growing fast across multiple digital properties and we need someone who treats keyword rankings like a scoreboard.
This isn't a content mill role. You'll own the strategy and execution behind how Ceramic Pro gets found — by consumers looking for protection, and by installers looking for a network worth joining. You'll work directly under the Director of Performance Marketing alongside a Senior Web Content Lead, embedded with the in-house team on-site at our headquarters.
What You're Really Here To Do
Close the gap between what people are searching for and what we publish. You'll research, write, structure, and publish content that ranks — then connect it to a funnel that converts. Web publishing is part of the job, but content strategy and SEO craft are the core of it.
What You'll Own
- Research and target high-intent keywords — long-tail, local, product-specific, and question-based — and build a content calendar around them
- Write and publish blog content that actually ranks: educational, product-focused, and locally relevant pieces structured around search intent, not just topics
- Build and optimize landing pages for products, campaigns, and Elite Dealer network initiatives across multiple sites
- Execute on-page SEO with precision — H1/H2 structure, meta titles and descriptions, schema markup, internal linking strategy, content freshness, and page speed awareness
- Own AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) — structure content to surface in AI-generated answers, featured snippets, and zero-click results
- Develop and maintain internal linking architecture across managed sites — every page should connect somewhere meaningful
- Track keyword movement, organic traffic, and conversion data weekly — surface what's working, flag what isn't, and act on it
- Conduct ongoing competitor and keyword gap analysis to find opportunities before they pass
- Manage local SEO signals to support dealer network visibility across markets
- Manage and update Shopify product pages and collections for our online store
- Coordinate with designers, social, and paid media to ensure web assets align with active campaigns
- Support basic CRO — you think about what happens after someone lands, not just whether they land
What We're Looking For
- 2–4 years in SEO content, digital content strategy, or web marketing — preferably in-house with a multi-site or multi-brand environment
- Demonstrated ability to write blog posts and landing page copy that rank — not content that just exists
- Deep comfort with on-page SEO fundamentals: heading hierarchy, keyword intent, internal linking, meta optimization, schema basics
- Familiarity with backlink strategy and how earned links and internal link structure interact
- Comfortable in Google Search Console, GA4, and at least one rank tracking tool (Semrush, Ahrefs, or similar)
- Working knowledge of WordPress (Elementor preferred) — you can build and publish your own pages without a handoff
- Understanding of AEO, AI search, and where zero-click is heading — you're ahead of it, not catching up
- Understanding of local SEO and how it applies to franchise or dealer networks
- Experience with HubSpot is a plus
- Automotive or specialty retail background is a bonus, not a requirement
Mindset & Culture Fit
- You check rankings the way other people check scores — a page slipping bothers you personally
- You think in content systems: how does this piece connect to the funnel, the internal linking map, and the next action?
- You write clearly with the goal in mind — not to fill a page, but to answer a specific query better than anyone else does
- You understand that a well-structured H2 and a strong internal link are just as important as the prose itself
- You treat content as infrastructure — built to last, not published and forgotten
- You're curious about where search is going and stay in front of it
Why This Role
You'll have direct access to real brand authority, a growing dealer network, and multiple properties to work across. Your content will rank on real terms, drive real leads, and be visible to the SEO community you care about. This isn't a support role — it's a core growth position with ownership from day one.
