SHIFT DET - Shift 2 (10%) (United States of America - Michigan) A BRIEF OVERVIEW We are looking for a skilled and reliable Furnace Operator to join our team. In this role, you will help produce high-quality parts by operating and maintaining our furnaces. If you enjoy hands-on work, this is a fantastic opportunity. *This position is for 2nd shift (2PM-10:30PM) possibly starting in mid-January. Training will take place on 1st shift (5AM-1:30PM). WHAT YOU WILL DO Load and unload parts from curing ovens. Prepare and position titanium parts in vacuum furnaces. Operate and monitor furnace equipment per the instructions. Complete routine maintenance and safety checks to keep equipment running smoothly. Perform probe checks and uniformity surveys as required by instructions. Inspect furnace interiors before each run. Inspect parts using precision tools. Safely move product using hand trucks, pallet jacks, and carts. Keep your work area and equipment clean and organized. Report any equipment issues, defective materials, or unusual conditions. Follow all safety rules and help maintain a safe work environment. Follow all quality procedures to ensure every product meets company and customer expectations.
