Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our aggregate transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating an end dump trailer. This role requires a strong commitment to safety while dumping. We work Monday to Friday. Equipped with brand new equipment ready to go If you're motivated to grow & prove that you're willing to do what it takes to get the job done, this is the prefect opportunity for you. We work 12-14hrs a day. Must be willing to show up at the yard 3am-4am the latest. Must have End dump experience.
Duties
- Operate commercial vehicles, including tractor-trailers and dump trucks
- Load and unload cargo efficiently. We haul any type of aggregates. From rock to sand.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours worked and mileage driven.
- Navigate routes effectively while adhering to traffic laws and regulations.
- Communicate with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the vehicle.
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License).
- Familiarity with operating an 18th Wheeler (End dump experience is a plus)
- Excellent navigation skills with knowledge of local routes and traffic patterns.
- Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance checks and troubleshoot minor issues.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with dispatchers and clients.
