Information about the Company: Cenveo is a leading North American manufacturer of envelopes. Hiring immediately for Machine Packers for 12 hour rotating shifts (2 days & 2 nights required) in the Williamsburg, PA plant.
Machine Packer Pay/Schedule:-
- $17.40/hr shift premium $0.35/hr.
- 2 days & 2 nights required: Day shift 7am – 7pm & Night shift 7pm – 7am
- Mandatory Overtime is required for 1-2 days during this busy season
- Opportunity to be promoted to a Machine Adjuster position if adequate mechanical skills are demonstrated after 90 days with the possibility to earn up to $23.83/hr if successful progress is being made based on the requirements for the position.

Machine Packer Responsibilities & Daily Duties:-
- Loads paper on to automatic hand-fed or web envelope folding machines; pack finished product.
- Inspects quality of envelopes, labels cartons, reports variances to key personnel.
- Checks current production orders/schedules to determine daily production requirements.
- May be required to do rework on finished product; Cleans up work area during/end of shift.
- Other duties as assigned/required.
Machine Packer Requirements/Qualifications:-
- The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma or equivalent.
- 6 months of relevant work experience in a production environment.
- Quality inspection skills and ability to measure/read a ruler.
- Basic math, verbal/written communication, computer skills
Machine Packer Physical Requirements & Work Environment:-
- Maintain a high-speed delivery output in a standing position for a full shift.
- Mental alertness; Ability to step up/reach overhead/manually feed paper into machine.
- Ability to lift up to 55 pounds; Manual dexterity required to grasp objects.
- Exposure to arm/wrist fatigue; Exposure to noise, hazardous materials (inks, solvents, glue, etc.).
- Must be able to work in hot or cold weather.
