Job Summary
The Training Supervisor is responsible for improving, implementing, and overseeing training programs that enhance the skills, safety, and productivity of manufacturing employees. This role ensures that all team members are properly trained in operational procedures, safety protocols, and quality standards, supporting continuous improvement and compliance with industry regulations.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities (*Essential Functions)
These are functions a qualified incumbent or applicant must be able to perform with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Coordinate and manage training programs for production staff, including onboarding, machine operation, safety procedures, and quality control specific to envelope manufacturing.
- Collaborate with department leads to identify skill gaps and develop targeted training plans.
- Maintain accurate training documentation and ensure compliance state, federal, and company-specific standards.
- Facilitate refresher courses and cross-training to support operational flexibility and workforce development.
- Monitor training effectiveness through performance metrics, feedback, and audits.
- Ensure training content reflects current manufacturing processes, equipment updates, and regulatory changes.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and safety awareness throughout the facility.
Support supervisors and team leads in reinforcing training outcomes and coaching employees.
Other (Non-Essential) Functions
Includes functions which are normally performed by persons holding this title. However, these functions may be reassigned to other employees as part of a "Reasonable Accommodation" under the ADA.

Physical Requirements and Environmental Conditions
- Primarily on the manufacturing floor with some general office responsibilities.
- Frequent exposure to dust, dirt, high noise levels and variations in temperature.

Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in a manufacturing training or supervisory role; envelope manufacturing experience is a plus
- Strong understanding of converting equipment, folding machines, and other envelope production technologies preferred
- Flexible hours to support multiple shifts is required
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, safety regulations, and quality systems
- Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality standards
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software
- Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
- Leadership and team-building abilities
- Analytical thinking and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple training initiatives across shifts
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is preferred.
