Job Summary
Performs a variety of duties for the facility including troubleshooting and repairing machines, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, as well as general electrical diagnosis and repair throughout the plant.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)

* Maintain, service, troubleshoot, install, and repair electrical and electronic circuitry and related components associated with production equipment.
* Utilize electrical ladder diagrams, electronic circuitry diagrams, and software programs to modify, repair, or improve equipment functionality.
* Install, maintain and repair wiring, motors, lighting and electrical systems.
* Ability to work with machine shop equipment lathe, drill press, welding, and cutting equipment.
* Monitors, schedules, and documents preventive maintenance on equipment.
* Troubleshoot, install and repair pneumatic, hydraulic components.
* Maintain exceptional housekeeping standards at all times.
* Comply with safety rules and regulations.

Physical Requirements & Environmental Conditions
* Requires frequent standing, walking, carrying, bending, stooping, grasping, and reaching; manual dexterity including hand/finger coordination.
* Ability to perform a volume of mechanical detail work with speed and accuracy.
* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., carry 50 lbs., push 100 lbs., pull 75 lbs.
* Exposure to noise; must wear hearing protection and safety shoes.

* Mathematical skills; must be able to read a scale and work with fractions.
* Excellent verbal/written communication skills / Basic computer skills.
* A minimum of 4 years of experience in the electronic diagnostics of PLC's, AC/DC drive systems, working with voltages up to 480VAC, etc.
* Ability to perform a volume of complex mechanical and electrical detail work.
* Solid troubleshooting skills; Configuration and calibration of various sensors.
* Coordination, communication and/or team problem solving between
* Willingness to work overtime as needed/ other shifts if needed.
