Machine Adjuster & Machine Adjuster Trainee

Information about the Company: Cenveo is a leading North American manufacturer of envelopes.  We are hiring immediately for experienced Machine Adjusters and Trainee Machine Adjusters in our Chicopee, MA manufacturing plant.

Experienced Machine Adjuster

• $22/hr or higher depending on experience
• 2 positions are opened on 1^st shift 7am -- 3pm (for experienced candidates)
• Additional positions are opened on 2^nd & 3^rd shifts
• 5 years of experience as an Envelope Machine Adjuster is required

Trainee Machine Adjuster

• $20/hr or higher depending on relevant experience shift premium on 2^nd & 3^rd shifts
• Positions are available on 2^nd & 3^rd shifts for this position
• 4 years of Intermediate to Advanced hands on mechanical skills required to set up, diagnose/repair production equipment as well as complete changeovers, size changes, etc.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment:

• Regular standing, walking, carrying, climbing, reaching, bending, stooping.
• Frequently required to lift and/or move up to 55 pounds with assistance.
• Exposure to production equipment, noise, hazardous materials (inks, solvents, glue, etc.).
• Must be able to work in hot or cold weather.
• Ability to handle high-speed delivery output in a standing position for a full shift.
• Mental alertness to stop equipment when jam occurs.

• Training typically takes place on 1^st shift for 2^nd & 3^rd shift positions
• 1^st shift 7am -- 3pm; 2^nd shift 3pm -- 11pm; 3^rd shift 11pm -- 7am
• 2nd shift premium $1/hr / 3rd shift premium $2/hr
• The schedule is Mon-Fri with Saturdays required during busy season/based on business needs
• Basic math skills and the ability to accurately read a ruler; basic computer skills.
• Flexibility required with machine assignment.
• **The Trainee position is a developmental role that requires the individual to be successfully progressing to a Machine Adjuster position by successfully completing the training The individual's performance will be evaluated to determine progress in and suitability for the role.
