Duties/Responsibilities:

• Optical Mastery: Utilize your profound understanding of optics to accurately assess prescriptions, customize lens materials, and expertly fit eyewear, ensuring optimal visual acuity and comfort for each individual.
• Fashion Forward: Combine your passion for eyewear trends and styling with your deep technical knowledge to guide customers in selecting frames that reflect their personality and enhance their unique style.
• Personalized Consultations: Build meaningful relationships with patients through attentive consultations, actively listening to their needs, and recommending tailored solutions that align with their lifestyle and preferences.
• Technology Integration: Stay at the forefront of technological advancements in the optical industry, exploring cutting-edge lens technologies and frame materials to deliver innovative solutions to our customers.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate seamlessly with our team of eye care professionals, sharing your knowledge and insights to ensure a holistic approach to eye health and wellness for our customers.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• Optician with a minimum of six months of experience, showcasing a track record of delivering exceptional customer service and optical solutions.
• Must possess the physical, mental, and cognitive skills needed to complete essential tasks, including abilities such as learning, remembering, focusing, categorizing, and integrating information for comprehension, problem-solving, and timely decision-making.
• Aesthetic sensibility and an eye for fashion trends, enabling you to provide style-forward guidance to customers.
• Proficient in using optical equipment and software systems to measure, fit, and adjust eyewear.

• Ability and willingness to travel to other office locations as needed for business needs.

TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS: 

• Sitting, Standing, Bending, Reaching, Stooping, Walking and Lifting.
• Ability to see, hear, and speak with sufficient capability to perform assigned tasks.
• Ability to use keyboard.
• Ability to use electronic medical record and scheduling software.

Working Conditions:

• Travel to other locations is necessary.
• Occupational Exposure - Category Ill exposure to blood-borne pathogens and may encounter chemical hazards.
