Role Description The Lead Tent Installer is a full-time, on-site role based in Wichita Falls, TX, responsible for overseeing tent setup and teardown at client locations. This position leads a crew in installing tents, stages, and related event equipment, ensuring all structures are safe, secure, and aligned with client specifications and company standards. Day-to-day tasks include reading site plans, loading and unloading equipment, driving to job sites, directing team members, and performing hands-on physical work such as lifting, securing stakes, and assembling frames. The Lead Tent Installer communicates with clients and supervisors on timelines, site conditions, and any adjustments needed, while maintaining a clean, organized work area and adhering to safety procedures. This role also involves training new crew members, inspecting equipment for damage, and reporting maintenance needs.
Qualifications
- Strong leadership and crew management skills, including the ability to assign tasks, motivate team members, and ensure work is completed safely and on schedule.
- Hands-on experience with tent installation or similar construction, rigging, or event setup work, including comfort with physical labor, lifting, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Basic mechanical and technical skills for assembling structures, using hand and power tools, and interpreting site layouts or simple diagrams.
