Build Your Future with a Company That Invests in Its People!
For more than 45 years, Century Sun Metal Treating has been a trusted leader in commercial heat treating, providing high-quality metal processing services to manufacturers throughout Michigan and beyond. Our success has always been built on one thing—great people.
This is hands-on, physical work in a manufacturing environment. During the summer months, our facility can get hot, so we're looking for dependable, hardworking individuals who take pride in showing up, giving their best, and being part of a team.
At Century Sun, dedication doesn't go unnoticed. We believe in recognizing employees who work hard, support their teammates, and take ownership of their job. We foster a positive, family-oriented culture where respect, teamwork, and reliability are valued every day. If you're looking for more than just a paycheck—a place where your effort is appreciated and your commitment is rewarded—we'd love to have you join our team.
What You'll Do
As a Heat Treat Technician, you'll operate heat treat furnaces and related equipment to produce high-quality products that meet customer specifications. You'll build furnace loads, monitor multiple heat treat processes, perform hardness inspections, complete basic preventative maintenance, and help keep our facility clean and organized. You'll also cross-train in other departments and receive paid, hands-on training in heat treating and metallurgy. No prior experience is required—we're looking for dependable individuals with a strong work ethic, basic computer skills, good problem-solving abilities, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Overtime is available and may be required based on production needs.
