The job of the Lead HVAC installer involves installing residential and light commercial systems, including light metal fabrication, and duct work installation. - Install HVAC equipment as lead installer in residential and light commercial settings
- Possess a minimum 5 years experience installing or equivalent expertise
- Build and install duct work, including light sheet metal fabrication
- Act as primary liaison between HVAC division manager and install techs/helpers
- Boiler install experience a plus, but not necessary
- Knowledge of Trane and Mitsu equipment a plus but not necessary
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
- Attend period, paid training and stay up to date with industry trends and developments
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Technical school training or apprenticeship in HVAC installation and repair
- Experience in HVAC installation and repair
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of HVAC systems and components
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces
