Position Summary
Century Insurance Consultants, Ltd. is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Personal Lines Account Manager to join our growing team. The Personal Lines Account Manager serves as the primary service contact for personal insurance clients and is responsible for managing client relationships, policy servicing, coverage reviews, renewals, and carrier communications. The ideal candidate will be committed to delivering exceptional customer service while helping clients protect their assets through comprehensive insurance solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for personal lines clients.
- Manage and service a book of business including homeowners, auto, umbrella, motorcycle, recreational vehicle, flood, and other personal insurance policies.
- Process policy changes, endorsements, renewals, cancellations, reinstatements, and billing inquiries.
- Review policies and coverage options with clients to identify gaps and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Prepare and deliver insurance proposals and renewal presentations.
- Market accounts with multiple insurance carriers to obtain competitive coverage and pricing options.
- Maintain accurate client records and documentation within the agency management system.
- Assist clients with claims reporting and provide ongoing claim support and advocacy.
- Collaborate with producers and agency staff to retain and grow client relationships.
- Cross-sell and round out existing accounts by identifying additional coverage opportunities.
- Stay informed regarding carrier guidelines, underwriting requirements, and industry trends.
- Ensure compliance with agency procedures, carrier requirements, and state insurance regulations.
Qualifications
- Active Pennsylvania Property & Casualty Insurance License required.
- Minimum 2 years of personal lines insurance experience preferred.
- Experience working with multiple insurance carriers and comparative rating systems preferred.
- Proficiency with EPIC agency management system and Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to providing outstanding customer service and building long-term client relationships.
