Job Responsibilities
- Establish and manage core accounting operations, including general ledger, payables, receivables, and cash activity.
- Lead the development of month end close processes and ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Build and oversee inventory and cost tracking systems to support operational and financial analysis.
- Partner with operations to improve reporting around revenue, margins, and overall business performance.
- Implement scalable processes, systems, and controls to support growth and operational efficiency.
- 5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and revenue recognition.
- Previous experience in inventory or product based environments such as manufacturing or consumer goods.
- Proven ability to build and improve accounting processes and systems.
- Prior experience working with or supporting system implementations and data integration efforts.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to connect financial data to operational performance.
- Proactive and hands on work style with the ability to build structure in a growing environment.
- Ability to manage complexity, including multiple entities and evolving business operations.
- Effective communication skills for working with cross functional teams and leadership.
- Organized and driven approach with focus on improving processes and supporting business growth.
