CGP: Area Manager (Portfolio Property Manager)

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking an Area Manager to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of $49.00 to $59.00 per hour.

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee performance and daily operations across a portfolio of properties within a defined region.

• Conduct regular property visits to assess site conditions, operational consistency, and compliance with standards.

• Work with on-site leaders to implement strategies that improve property performance and long-term value.

• Review financial activity across locations, including budgets, approvals, and ongoing operational reporting.

• Support tenant and vendor relationships by helping resolve issues and ensuring service quality.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree in business, property management, or a related field.

• 3 years of experience overseeing multiple properties or managing a regional portfolio.

• Strong background in leading teams and supporting the development of on-site staff.

• Proficiency with property management platforms and reporting tools.

• Ability to travel frequently within the assigned region, including occasional overnight stays.

Qualifications:

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple properties and competing priorities.

• Effective communication skills for collaborating with leadership, site teams, tenants, and vendors.

• Ability to review financial information, support budget goals, and ensure operational accuracy.

• Skilled at resolving property-related challenges and guiding teams through issue escalation.

• Demonstrate leadership qualities including accountability, coaching ability, and strategic thinking.
